Shree kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple is one of the holiest Hindu Temples in India. Shree kateel Durga parameshwari Temple is located in the kateel village of Dakshina kannada District of the Indian state of Karnataka. And the temple is situated on the banks of River Nandini.In Tulu “kati” means “center” and “ila” means “land” “kati+ila=kateel”.

Temple was constructed and made between the Nandini river, The river flows both the sides of the Temple. The goddess Durgaparameshwari idol is so elegant and imbibes sacredness and spiritual enlightenment to all the Devotees. Inside the temple the special Darshan E-ticket is available for Devotees. Inside the temple durga parameshwari is well decorated. And for the devotees prasadam available for morning breakfast, afternoon, and night. And one elephant is placed inside the temple giving the blessings for the devotees.
