Kanakachala Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is also called as Kanakachalapathi Temple,kankachalapati Temple is a sixteenth century Hindu Temple devoted to the God Vishnu. The Kanakachalapathi Temple temple is situated in the town of Kanakagiri, in the Gangavathi taluk of Koppal locale in the Karnataka state, India. It is located at a distance of 105 km from Badami.

Model in the sanctuary remembers those of fanciful figures for wood and pilaster, and that of lords and sovereigns in dark stone. The prominence of the sanctuary is upheld by a neighborhood saying: “people with eyes must see Kanakagiri and those with legs, Hampi”, a confirmation that the Kanakachalapathi sanctuary is a joy to the eyes.The Kanakachalapathi temple is an illustration of Dravidian architecture of the Vijayanagara period. It is an ensured landmark under the Karnataka state division of the Archeological Survey of India.
