Yes , you can cover most of the places around Badami in one day. When we are busy with our day to day life, with academics, with business meetings and all or just you need to take some break at the weekend then Badami is the perfect destination.
No doubt visiting the historical town is really an refreshing and energetic experience. Off course one day is not enough to cover the places in details and to spend more time. But still we can have a nice experience in a day specially when things are not planned.

following places can be visited.
1. Banashankari Amma Temple – Get the blessing of goddess Banashankari devi.
2. Badami Caves and Museum : Experience and witness the amazing rock cut caves and know the history by visiting the museum
3.Mahakuta Take the darshanam of Mahakooteshwara (Take a holy bath in the mahakuta tank).
4. Pattadakal Yes truly marvellous architecture. Visit the world heritage site and fill the eyes with beautiful temple and fine carvings.
5.Aihole  Visit various temples with Durga temple.
6.Shivayogamandira Divine place. Get the touch of spiritual feel. Know about shiva sharanas.
And when it comes to food, We will get all sort of food items in Badami. If we wish to taste the local food cousine then go for Jowar Roti meals , Girmit and Mirchi Bajji for snacks. Lets give your taste buds to feel something spicy and healthy diet. The curry comes with medium spices and good for health and pocket.
